A woman who mummified her sister's body in petrol and then tried to bring her back to life with an electric shock sparked a massive blaze that burned her apartment block to the ground.
The bizarre Frankenstein-style experiment went wrong - say police in Ekaterinburg, Russia - when wires from a mains plug and fixed to the body's hands and head ignited the petrol causing the body to explode
"The woman had been dead for a year and her sister seems not to have accepted it. She has made a number of attempts to reanimate her but this was the most spectacular," said one officer.
A 69-year-old woman is recovering from burns and smoke inhalation, confirm paramedics.
